GQT Rules and regulations for placements

Payment Terms

  • The student is required to pay 100% total course fee upon enrollment.
  •  Once paid, the course fee is non refundable.

 Admission Transfer

  • Admission to the course is non transferable from one student to another student.

Attendance Policy

  • Students must
    •  Maintain a minimum Attendance of Percentage 90%. 
    •  Be punctual to  show respect for instructors and fellow students and   to avoid disruptions.

Assignments:

  • Complete and submit all assignments on time.
  • Late assignments can affect progress within the organization.

Premises Entry

  •  Entry to the organization premises is restricted without the ID. 

Property Handling:

  •  Students are expected to
    • Handle the institution’s property with care.
    • Respect the building, equipment, and other resources.

 Vehicle Parking

  • Responsibly park vehicles, avoiding non parking areas.

 Attire 

  • Attire for sessions must be decent..
  • Mischievous activities with attire related to GQT in public places are not entertained.

 Code of Conduct

  •  Follow the institution’s outlined code of conduct. 
  •  Violations may result in disciplinary action.

Confidentiality

  • Course materials and proprietary information provided during the course are confidential and should not be disclosed without prior written consent.

Additional Student Responsibilities

  •  Avoid behaviors that defame the organization’s name. 
  • Respect diversity and refrain from discriminatory or harassing behavior. 
  • Seek help when needed to avoid further complications. 
  • Practice consent and respect women’s boundaries.

 Misbehavior Consequences

  • Misbehaving or using unparliamentary words in GQT premises will result in severe consequences.

Communication Channels

  •  Primary communication will be conducted through Whatsapps/Slack.

 Western Formal Wear (Most Common)

  • Top: Solid color formal blouse or shirt (white, light blue, beige, or pastels)
  • Bottom: Formal trousers or knee-length pencil skirt
  • Blazer (optional): Matching with trousers/skirt
  • Footwear: Closed-toe flats or low heels in neutral colors (black, brown, beige)
  • Accessories: Minimal jewelry, simple watch, light makeup
  • Hair: Neatly tied (bun or ponytail), or left open but tidy
  • Bag: Small professional handbag or folder.

 Indian Formal Wear (If Preferred)

  • Top: Simple cotton or silk kurti (avoid flashy prints or embroidery)
  • Bottom: Matching leggings or formal palazzo pants
  • Dupatta (optional): Keep it simple and neat
  • Footwear: Formal sandals or flats
  • Colors: Stick to pastels, neutrals, or soft shades.

 For Men (Boys)

  • Western Formal Wear
  • Shirt: Solid light-colored formal shirt (white, light blue, pastel)
  • Trousers: Dark formal trousers (black, navy, charcoal)
  • Blazer (optional): Well-fitted and matching with trousers
  • Tie: Simple, not flashy (optional for entry-level roles unless required)
  • Shoes: Formal lace-up or slip-on shoes (polished)
  • Accessories: Watch (optional), neat belt
  • Hair: Clean and well-combed
  • Shaving: Clean-shaven or well-groomed beard.
Company Invitations

The Placement Cell will invite reputed companies/organizations to recruit students in their respective fields of specialization.

 

 Dream Company Policy
  • A student selected (core/non-core) may apply to a maximum of 5 dream companies.

  • If selected in the first dream company, the student cannot apply for another dream company.

 

Offer Rejection & Joining Obligation
  • Students rejecting an offer without a genuine reason will be barred from further placement opportunities.
  • Students who fail to join a company after being selected (without valid justification) will not receive further assistance.
Communication & Reporting
  • Placement schedules will be communicated through Email, SMS, and WhatsApp.

  • Students must strictly adhere to the reporting time; latecomers may not be allowed to participate.

 

Student Responsibility
  • Students must keep academic and personal details (Marks, Mobile No., Email ID, GQT ID) updated with the Placement Cell.

  • Once selected, students must not change their registered Mobile Number or Email ID until they join the company.

 

Preparation for Placement Drives
  • Students must research the visiting company, job profile, and details in advance.

  • Visiting the company’s website before attending the drive is compulsory.

 

Opportunities for Non-Eligible Students
  • The Placement Cell will strive to arrange drives with companies having no eligibility criteria.

  • Non-eligible students must accept their first available opportunity.

 

Policy Revision

The Placement Policy may be revised as per market conditions to maximize benefits for the student community.
